Chocolate Pudding

     I’ve hit guac bottom I know but in all seriousness this chocolate avocado pudding is all avo wanted. Enough avo puns...I love this little green and soft fruit (yes...avocado is actually a fruit!). You want to know something? I used to hate avocado. I know...crazy!! People grow up and change and thankfully so do their taste buds. Now I eat avocado all the time...probably too much of the time. I know it’s wrong, but it feels so ripe! I promised I'd stop, didn't I!?

  I get a little too giddy when I get to upgrade recipes and foods I love with a more nutritious and healthier alternatives. Avocados contain more potassium than bananas, come fully loaded with fiber, and full of heart healthy monounsaturated fatty acids. It's time to ditch the dairy laden conventionally made pudding for this sugar free and dairy free alternative!!


  • 2 large avocados

  • 1/2 C unsweetened cocoa powder

  • 1/3 C coconut cream

  • 2 tsp. vanilla extract

  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon

  • 3 tsp. stevia powder


  1. Remove avocado from the skins and place in a food processor (or blender)

  2. Add the cocoa powder, coconut cream, vanilla, cinnamon, and stevia powder.

  3. Pulse for about 1 minute stopping once to scrape sides.

  4. With a spatula scrape the sides and place into a bowl.

  5. Refrigerate up to 4 days.
