Chocolate Chip Banana Bread Bites

White Flowers

Sometimes you just want a little bite on the go! These chocolate chip banana bites are just the thing to hit the spot mid morning or afternoon. The weather is warming up outside and my kids are on the go and outdoors much more. They run around any opportunity they get outside full steam ahead burning an insane amount of calories and will stick their head in the door just enough to let me know they are "starving to death and MUST eat immediately....or they'll die". Maybe being on the verge of death makes anything taste good or perhaps they really did ...I'll choose the later and go with it. Good news is that they didn't die and unbeknownst to them they enjoyed tasty AND nutritious snacks.

I enjoy sweetening foods all naturally with what nature gave us because it's a form of loving and caring for our bodies. When we take what nature gave us and turn it around and make something amazing out of it our bodies will be nourished and strengthened! There's a time and a place to go all our and throw caution to the wind (hello birthday party cake!)but on a daily basis keeping sugar and processed food to a minimum is beneficial now and in the long run.

Have some old bananas that are looking a little questionable? A toddler who refuses to eat the "bad banana with spots"? =====> Grab those 'naners and whip up a batch of warm chocolate chip banana bites. Research shows that those spotty bananas have higher anticancer properties than unripen bananas. The spots on ripe bananas produce a substance called Tumor Necrosis Factor (TNF) that has the ability to destroy cancerous tumors in the body. Fascinating.....I know!!!
